- Yeosu has beautiful scenery of South Sea and various kinds of marine facilities, and it is also a city of defense of fatherland
and faithfulness that holds national defense relics of Chungmugong.
It takes 1 hour from Seoul to Yeosu and 45 minutes from Jeju to Yeosu by flight. Starting from the service of Korea Airlines between Seoul and Yeosu in 1972, regular line between Yeosu and Jeju was added in 1977, and in 1992, Asiana Airlines placed Seoul~Yeosu line into service. It started construction to make more comfortable airport in 1995, and completed in 2004.
