- Sachun airport is located at Guam-ri, Sachun-eub, Sachun-si, Kyungsangnam-do and approximately 20 km away from the Jinju
city hall. Jiri mountain and Hanryu national sea park are quite close from and it is also called as Jinju airport. In November 1969,
Korean Air went into commission and for civil aviation facilities construction in August 1973, line was suspended. In February
1975, Korean Air went into commission again.In August 1977, between Jeju island and Jinju, line was opened and in April 1992, Asiana airlines put into service.16,500 times flights are possible and 1,350,000 passengers can be carried for a year. 300 cars
can be parked simultaneously and currently Seoul and Jeju island lines are in service.
