- All baggage (except carry-on luggage) must be checked-in prior to boarding. Carry-on luggage must weigh no more than 10kg and be no larger than 55 cm (W) x 40 cm (L) x 20 cm (H).
- When departing Korea from International Airport, every passenger must complete an E/D card (immigration card) and must also present a passport for inspection and endorsement. Although the E/D card is available at both the check-in counters, we recommend that passengers complete it when checking in. travellers should fill the departure and disembarkment cards from the airline boarding procedure desk, and submit the departure card at the departure inspection desk and the disembarkment card at the entry inspection desk when they come back.

- The Quarantine Office issues quarantine certificates for travelers, animals, and plants. Many countries require a quarantine certificate for entry, so please check with your airline regarding the quarantine regulations for the country you will be visiting.
- Declaration on Temporary Exports Subject to Re-importation
- Foreigners who are staying in Korea but who are temporarily departing from the country must file a record of any expensive merchandise or valuables that are being taken out of the country. To do so, they must complete the "Declaration of Temporary Exports Subject to Re-importation" form. This form provides travelers with a tax exemption for the declared merchandise.

- Tax Refund
- Foreign travelers who have purchased duty-free goods at International Airport must document their purchases by completing a "Foreign Traveler Purchase Certificate." In addition, they must declare their purchases at the Customs counter. A tax refund on the duty-free goods will normally be provided within three months.

- Every passenger must present an Airport Departure Tax ticket at the security inspection counter. Passengers must also present a "Carry-out of Valuable Personal Effects" form, if applicable. Passengers with nothing to declare will undergo a security inspection after they have cleared Customs. Once passengers have passed the security inspection, they may retrieve their personal effects and proceed to the departure immigration counter.
